Workload pressures, too much responsibility and a perceived lack of managerial support can all take their toll on both an individual, and ultimately the performance of the business. This programme is designed to help all attendees understand, manage and reduce stress and anxiety in the workplace. Through personal coaching sessions and expert led group workshops and activities attendees will learn practical, evidence based techniques to strengthen their own mental resilience, and support others.
According to latest estimates from the Labour Force Survey, stress, depression or anxiety accounted for 40% of all work-related ill health cases in 2016/7, and 49% of all working days lost due to ill health. So there is a clear economic case for helping foster a more mentally resilient workforce. Our aim is to provide a relaxing and nurturing environment where attendees can improve their awareness of mental health issues in the workplace. We will share proactive tools to build resilience, manage and reduce stress in themselves and others, and develop mental toughness.
